A rustic 5-bedroom farmhouse with pool and garden, steps from Barbera d'Asti vineyards
Casa Ambrogina is a classic Piedmont farmhouse built in 1922 and restored with original materials — reclaimed bricks, old chestnut beams, hand-made terracotta — that give the house its unhurried character.
Thick old walls keep summers cool and winters warm. The vaulted dining room seats the whole group. The kitchen is lived-in and honest. Outside, a mature garden unfolds into orchard, vineyard edge, and pool.
This is not a hotel. It is a family home opened with care, in one of Italy's most quietly beautiful wine regions.

The vineyard landscape you wake up to is recognised as one of humanity's most beautiful cultural landscapes
Each room has its own character. The house flows between private retreat and generous shared space — perfect for groups who want to be together, and apart.
A mature garden unfolds behind the house — a towering oak for shade, a covered terrace for lunches that stretch into afternoon, and a saltwater pool (4×10m) surrounded by flowers.
Climb the garden steps to find the orchard: apples, pears, figs, hazelnuts, cherries, and grapevines — all yours to pick in season. At the garden's edge, a working vineyard begins.
The Nizza DOCG designation, established in 2014, is Italy's highest recognition for Barbera wines grown in this specific zone. Rolling hills, rich clay soils, and a perfect microclimate combine to produce structured, complex wines unlike any other Barbera.
You can walk to local producers from the house. Wineries here offer real visits — cellar tours, barrel tastings, and conversations with the people who make the wine.
